KINDER GARTEN
As the name suggests this stage is dedicated to preparing the young minds to learn the basics of early learning, keeping in mind the milestones of healthcare and nutrition. A vast repository of print-rich textbooks, workbooks and storybooks for children coupled with teacher handbooks are the key highlight. These steps have been taken to augment basic language and numeracy skills of the NVP students belonging to the Foundational Stage.
Nursery
Nursery schools typically employ trained teachers and support staff who specialize in early childhood education. These professionals are responsible for creating a curriculum that is age-appropriate, engaging, and challenging for young children. Activities in a nursery school may include learning basic academic skills such as colors, shapes, letters, and numbers, as well as developing gross and fine motor skills through play-based activities.
Grade I to V
This Stage is indeed very emphatic in its methodologies. It thoroughly prepares the students to get an understanding of more advanced concepts both in language development and numeracy skills. The classes are more formalised and structured, with larger emphasis on learning by doing. Topics like health, nutrition, art are also given weightage with many competitions, theme based programmes being organised.
